The Saskatoon Kendo Seminar will be held in May 2022! This annual event has kendo members all across the prairie provinces gather for a weekend of training, tournament, and grading. This is the "full kendo experience" in one shot and so we strongly encourage all our members to attend.

In past years, many of us would take off the Friday so that we can carpool to Saskatoon in time for the evening session. In addition, if we know who plans to attend, then we can look at sharing hotel rooms to lower the overall cost to each person. Please notify the club if you are attending and if you are planning on grading.

Speaking of grading, if you hold the rank of 2 Kyu or higher, you can test for your next rank on Sunday in front of a CKF grading panel. While Alberta is hoping to hold a grading late this year, Saskatoon will be one of the first opportunities to do this; other gradings are usually held in Toronto and Vancouver making them more expensive to attend.
