UPDATE: David Chiu-sensei will not be able to attend the seminar.

The Edmonton Kendo Club is celebrating its 15th anniversary by hosting a weekend seminar in October. The guest instructor will be Hirokazu Okusa-sensei (Kendo 7 Dan, Iaido 5 Dan) from Simon Frasier University.

Friday, October 21

• Iaido - 6pm to 9pm

Saturday, October 22

• Kendo - 8:30am to 12pm
• Lunch - 12pm to 12:45pm
• Kendo - 12:45pm to 5:30pm
• Dinner - 7pm

Sunday, October 23

• Kendo - 8:30am to 12pm
• Iaido - 1pm to 3pm

Because the seminar includes both kendo and iaido sessions, we are presenting two registration options:

Attending only kendo or iaido sessions - $50 per person
Attending both kendo and iaido sessions - $75 per person

The registration fee includes lunch on Saturday and Sunday. We are also planning a dinner for Saturday night at a local restaurant. Though we don't have confirmation yet, we expect this to cost around $20.
